I have found through the years that being a supporter or caregiver to a spouse with brain injury and chronic pain issues mans doing a lot of the heart work. In our early years, this meant taking an abnormal psychology course or two in university to learn about brain injury and it’s after effects. Then as pain began to be a factor in our life, I started to learn about medications and treatments. Now my heart work is to keep us Moving Towards Better by keeping us and our issues in perspective. That perspective may be gratitude, it may be love of others, it may be self-love, and it is always self-forgiveness. In this section, I am reviewing some of my favourite books I have read to give me better person, professional, family, parenting, and relationship advice. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
